Deputy detained on suspicion of bribe-taking

In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Kamchatka Territory from the Communist Party, Valery Bykov, was detained. Bykov, who is also an individual entrepreneur and hold the list of general director of ELKAR LLC (Yelizovsky Karyer) and the chief editor of the Kamchatka Communist newspaper, was detained on suspicion of taking a bribe on a large scale (part 6 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

Parliamentarians are suspected of trying to obtain a stake in a rival company from Vilyuchinsk.
