Recall that Kuznetsov was charged with illegal export and conspiracy to export components and accessories for weapons from the United States to Russia. He indicated an incorrect description of the parcels' contents. The prosecution suggests that 58-year-old Kuznetsov, who lives in Brooklyn, and other conspiracy members mailed items to Russia since February 2017.
His wife Marina Muller was also the sender. The recipients were people named Vadim Novikov, Dmitry Kuznetsov, and other people.
If guilty, he faces up to 20 years in prison.
