Shakro Molodoy and “his” investigators
The detention of the “thief in law” Shakro Molodoy (Zakhariy Kalashov), which took place on July 12, 2016, sparked a wave of criminal cases against the senior officials of the Investigative Committee.
The leader of the criminal association himself was charged for extortion of 8 million rubles from the owner of Elements restaurant, Zhanna Kim.
The investigators are accused of abuse of authority and bribery in the amount of 1 million dollars for the release of the criminal’s handler, Andrey Kochuykov, nicknamed Italyanets (the Italian).
At the pretrial detention center there is currently the First Deputy Head of the General Investigative Administration of the Moscow Investigative Committee, Denis Nikandrov, the Head of the General Interdepartmental Interaction and Internal Security Administration of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Maksimenko, and his deputy, Aleksandr Lamonov.

According to the version of the FSB, Mikhail Maksimenko was the ultimate receiver of the bribe, while all the others acted as intermediaries. Shakro Molodoy is said to have nothing to do with the bribe at all.
