Volochkova tells how Senator Arashukov deceived her
The politician paid for her concerts in the Republic two times less than promised.
The well-known ballerina Anastasiya Volochkova has visited the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic twice with her performances. Both times, the arrested Senator Rauf Arashukov paid her two times less than what was agreed.
Volochkova noted that since her performances were charitable, the payment was initially assumed to be small; only the artist’s team members were supposed to receive payment. But Arashukov did not pay them.
“I can only characterize him as a slum oligarch, nothing-burger. Apparently, all his actions, illegal and criminal, led to what they were supposed to lead, perhaps even earlier. I’m not surprised,” Tsargrad cites Volochkova.
At the same time, the former prima of the Bolshoi Theater told MK that during their last meeting, Arashukov tried to lure her into a room in Barvikha and invited her to the sauna so persistently that Volochkova literally had to fight back. She asked her man, who was waiting for her on the street, to stand up for her.
The ballerina noted that she was not surprised by the fact a criminal case was initiated against the senator. In addition, Volochkova said that she had known the Arashukov family for more than ten years and recalled that Rauf had “boasted of his father's money.”
As The CrimeRussia previously reported, January 30, Karachay-Cherkessia Senator Rauf Arashukov was detained on suspicion of involvement in the murder of two people, participation in a criminal community, and pressure on a witness. In turn, his father, Gazprom Top Manager Raul Arashukov, is suspected of embezzling 30 billion rubles ($458 million). The nephew of Arashukov Sr., Ruslan Arashukov, who heads Gazprom Gas Distribution Astrakhan, has also been detained.
Mass protest rallies have been taking place in Moscow on a regular basis since the beginning of this summer. People are protesting for lots of different reasons. However, the reaction of the law enforcement authorities is always the same: repression. What is the reason behind the brutality shown during the dispersion of mass rallies? A conscious intimidation policy or incompetence of law enforcement functionaries escalating the violence and unable to imagine the potential consequences of this?
