Tsepovyaz hid from observers in unknown colony
A member of Tsapok's gang, Vyacheslav Tsepovyaz, who found himself at the center of a scandal due to a picture from the prison showing delicacies, has been taken out from the pre-trial detention center, Chairperson of the Khabarovsk region PMC Viktoria Makarchuk said.
Vyacheslav Tsepovyaz, who was sentenced to 20 years’ imprisonment in the Tsapok case and who found himself at the center of scandal over the picture showing a table full of delicacies in the colony in the autumn 2018, has been taken from the pre-trial detention center to an unknown colony. This is reported by TASS referring to Chairperson of the Public Monitoring Commission in the Khabarovsk region, Viktoria Makarchuk.
According to Makarchuk, Tsepovyaz was taken out of the pre-trial detention center the other day. She noted that security agencies’ representatives did not tell where they had taken the convict.
The human rights defender also said that PMC members have studied the personal card of Tsepovyaz. In particular, they have studied the list of products supplied to him in prison. According to Makarchuk, there were on crabs on the list.
The scandal surrounding Tsepovyaz broke out in November 2018, when pictures showing the convict sitting at the table full of red caviar and crabs appeared on the Web. Allegedly, the pictures were taken in a colony in the Amur region.
Vyacheslav Tsepovyaz was sentenced to 19 years and 10 months’ rigorous imprisonment for committing grave and especially grave crimes as part of the Kushchevskaya OCG. The gang led by Sergey Tsapok operated in the Krasnodar region from the late 1990s to 2012. The gang members killed 19 people.
