Three suspects in abducting businessman's son detained in Moscow region
The abductors demanded a ransom of 20 million rubles ($306.4 thousand).
Three suspects is kidnapping were detained in the Moscow region, the press service of the Investigative Committee for the region reports. The lawbreakers abducted a businessman’s son, 32, and extorted 20 million rubles ($306.4 thousand) for his release.
According to investigators, on May 6, the suspects lured a man into an unfinished building in the village of Izmaylovo, Leninsky district. The victim was beaten, after which he was taken by car to Lyuberetsky district, where, being periodically beaten, he was held in an apartment, his relatives were demanded 20 million rubles ($306.4 thousand) for his release.
The suspects were detained with the support of the police and Rosgvardia. They are currently being interrogated by investigators. In the near future, a court will decide on their arrest.
