Moldavian tycoon Vladimir Plahotniuc, who had been arrested in absentia in Russia, has been found in the United States. Photo of Plahotniuc, resting along with his female assistant and lover, has been posted on social networks. The shoots were taken in Miami.

Earlier, Moscow’s Tverskoy Court arrested the Moldavian tycoon in absentia. The Investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs accused him in absentia of creation of a criminal community.

According to the investigation, starting from 2012 and up to 2017, the criminal community delivered hundreds of kilos of hashish from Morocco to Russia.

The businessman has been arrested in absentia in Russia twice: in a case into assassination attempt on a businessman Renato Usatii and in case into an organized criminal community that had siphoned off tens of billions of rubles of Russia.
