“The Main Directorate for Investigating Particularly Important Cases of the Russian Investigative Committee has initiated a criminal case against the former Minister of the Open Government of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Abyzov, who in the period from April 2011 to November 2014, being the beneficiary owner of a number of offshore commercial organizations, created and headed the criminal community ", - official representative of the Investigative Committee Svetlana Petrenko reported.
A criminal case was opened on fraud of 4 billion rubles. According to investigators, the ex-minister stole and transferred abroad the money of OJSC Siberian Energy Company and OJSC Regional Electric Networks. FSB performed the detention of Abyzov.
