Member of OCG Khimmash - Borisovskie received 9 years of strict regime
The court hearing was held on the case of an organized criminal group Khimmash - Borisovskie In Saransk.
43-year-old member of the famous OCG Eduard Pleskushkin is convicted of extortion, committed by an organized group, said in the Prosecution's Office in Mordovia. The court sentenced him to 9 years in a maximum regime penal colony, but the verdict has not come in force.
The Court found that Pleskushkin, being an active member of the OCG in the period from March 2003 to February 2011, committed the number extortions of large sums of money from Saransk businessmen, resulting in damage exceeded 30,283,624 rubles.
In particular, it is referred tot he racketeering at the gas station and the extortion of cash proceeds from the shopping facilities.
Accomplices of Pleskushkin have previously received lengthy prison sentences. According to the press service of the Ministry of Interior in Mordovia, these crimes remained unresolved for a long time, because victims did not apply to law enforcement authorities, fearing for their lives and health.
