This is the last birthday that Barsukov celebrated, while at large, in 2006. The video was posted by YouTube user Ark Trotsky. Fugitive deputy Alexei Mitrofanov, journalist Alexander Nevzorov, as well as artists Alexander Rosenbaum, Grigory Leps, Vladimir Vinokur and Soso Pavliashvili can be seen on the shots.

Barsukov was arrested in August 2007 on suspicion of murder, attempted murder, racketeering and the organization of the criminal community. He was later found guilty of creating the Tambov OCG. The court sentenced Barsukov to 24 years in a penal colony and a fine of one million rubles ($15,400).
