Investigators to check Moscow region officials after arrest of local authority Pavlin
Law enforcement officers struck the conditions for the purchase of land by head of the Chekhov district Sergey Yudin suspicious.
It became known that the investigation of the case of authoritative businessman Nikolay Pavlinov, also known as Pavlin (Peacock), or Kolya, covered officials of Moscow region Chekhov, employees of Chekhov's police department, local cadaster and Rosreestr, as well as employees of several companies operating in the real estate market.
Recall that on August 15 this year the Moscow Babushkinsky Court elected a measure of restraint in the form of arrest. The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Moscow region conducts an investigation under parts 1, 2, 3 of Art. 210 of the Criminal Code (Organization of the Criminal Community and Participation in It). According to the investigation, the accomplices illegally acquired the rights to state-owned land plots and buildings located on the territory of the Chekhov municipal district of the Moscow region falsely - it refers to the lands in the villages of Talezh, Volosovo, Yakshino, Chepelevo and Venyukovo. Under the OCG’s belt there are at least five similar episodes falling under part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Swindling committed by an organized group) that occurred between late 2011 and August 2016. In the case, the damage is amounting to 11 billion rubles ($190m).
The same charges are also brought against Pavlinov's business partner Oleg Strekalov. He is now on the federal wanted list. Both of them were co-owners of the Vityaz hockey club. In addition, Pavlinov also developed the eponymous boxing club, in which famous Russian boxers Alexander Povetkin and Denis Lebedev trained. During the trial they even came to support Pavlinov.
According to a source of RBC, Chekhov's cadastral chamber seized documents on the ownership of a land plot in the village of Talezh, which belongs to Head of the Chekhov district Sergey Yudin. The package of documents is studied for the legality of the transaction.
In addition, the investigators are studying documents on the ownership of the Pavlinov’s country house. The whole estate in the past was part of the recreation center Lopasnya. He also owns many other real estate, most of which, according to a source in the ICR, Pavlinov registered on his son Alexander and trustee Igor Krylovsky. Strekalov, according to the investigation, participated in the development of schemes related to the theft of the lands of the Chekhov district.

As the press service of the business Ombudsman explained, he is aware of 276 criminal cases initiated against Russian businessmen on far-fetched charges. All the victims turned to the apparatus of Titov themselves.
