Investigative Committee publishes photo of two gas companies top managers – members of Arashukov’s gang

Acting Executive Director of Budennovskgazprombytservis JSC and Executive Director of the Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Stavropol LLC branch in Nevinnomyssk are wanted.

The Investigative Committee posted photos of alleged accomplices of Senator Rauf Arashukov and his father, Raul Arashukov. Within the criminal case, Acting Executive Director of Budennovskgazprombytservis JSC Uali Evgamukov and Executive Director of the Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Stavropol LLC branch in Nevinnomyssk Umar Kalmykov are wanted. According to the Ministry, top managers of gas companies participated in the theft of natural gas by Gazprom PJSC worth more than 30 billion rubles.

Senator from Karachay-Cherkessia Rauf Arashukov, his father Raul Arashukov, Ruslan Arashukov, Guzer Khashukaev, Nikolay Romanov, Igor Travinov and Alan Kyatovm are arrested within accusations.

To date, Rauf Arashukov has been charged under part 3 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Participation in a Criminal Community), part 4 of Article 309 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Pressure on a Witness), part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Murder). The remaining persons, depending on the role of each, are suspected of committing crimes under part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Swindling, Creation, and Participation in a Criminal Community).

Senator Rauf Arashukov was detained on January 30 in the Federation Council. On the same day, his father Raul Arashukov, the adviser to the general director of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz and the member of the National Assembly of the KChR, was detained at a meeting of Gazprom in St. Petersburg.

The ICR investigates the case.
