In Samara region, son of crime lord from Never's OCG detained because of drugs

In Tolyatti, the son of an entrepreneur and local crime lord Vladimir Safronov, also known as Safron, was detained with a batch of synthetic drugs. The businessman himself is now in custody awaiting trial. This is reported by the local edition of Tltgorod.
According to the newspaper, the son of Safronov from his first marriage, Nikita Safronov, born in 1993, was detained by police on the street. On examination, he was found to have 5 grams of amphetamine. A case was opened against Safronov under Article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation; now he is under arrest in the detention center.
According to local media, Safronov’s father is also there. He found himself under investigation under the article "Fraud on a large scale" together with another entrepreneur Igor Romanov, known in criminal circles under the nickname Cosmos. The case file has already been sent to one of the Togliatti district courts. It is reported that two years ago, Safron survived an attempt on his life.
According to the investigation, the scam is related to the activities of the company Avtogradtrans, which is engaged in repair work on municipal contracts. The former director of the company, Sergei Ozhegov, who is called a person close to Tolyatti's crime lord Never, is now serving a prison sentence. However, not for fraud, but for aiding in the murder of a policeman of one of the homicide departments of the MIA Directorate of the city of Tolyatti, Dmitry Kruchkin.
According to local publications, Safron and Cosmos belong to the once influential criminal gang of Sergey Neverov, nicknamed Never. The latter is currently wanted for suspicion of a number of murders and attempted murders.
