Gang that robbed general and Solntsevskaya OCG leaders' mansions stands trial
Armed robbers from Moldova penetrated the elite cottages, bound the residents, beating out information about the values, and carried off booty for tens of millions of rubles.
On November 6, the Moscow Regional Court proceeds to the consideration of the criminal case of the criminal group, which kept the inhabitants of the elite districts of the Moscow region in fear for five years.
According to Znak.com, citing the press service of the court, the first two sessions were postponed. The defendants were already brought to the court, where they behaved defiantly, laughed and swore loudly.
Тine defendants come from Moldova - Nikolai Grecu, whom the investigation considers to be the leader of the gang, Andrian Mitrofan, Andrei Stich, Vlad Mocanu, Ion Krihan, Radu Kalugarian, Tudor Katrushka, and also cousins Radu and Sergey Onchu.
Depending on the degree of participation, each of them was charged under some articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation: illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of weapons, their principal parts, ammunition, theft, robbery, theft or extortion of weapons and banditry. In total, there are more than 20 criminal episodes, so the gang members face up to 15 years in prison.
The alleged leader of the organized criminal group, Nikolai Grecu, and several others do not admit their guilt. The investigating authorities insist that the raiders operated on the territory of the Moscow region and the Tyumen Autonomous Region from May 2012 to October 2016 as part of an organized group. The police have been investigating the activity of the gang that left almost no traces for about five years. It was possible to get on their trail after one of the raiders' cars hit the surveillance cameras footages.

According to investigators, armed criminals penetrated the elite cottages, bound the residents, beating out information about the values, and carried off booty for tens of millions of rubles.
The investigation estimated the total profit of robbers from the raids at 150 million rubles ($2.2m). At the same time, the gang members robbed objects protected by the FSO, and people with high status.
After each count, the criminals celebrated their luck in a rented country mansion and left for their homeland. The money was transferred to foreign accounts.
Among the victims were the families of the co-chairman of the Delovaya Rossiya movement, Andrey Nazarov, FSB Major General and Hero of Russia Umar-Pasha Khanaliev, the entrepreneur, one of the alleged leaders of the Solntsevskaya organized criminal group Alexander Averin, and well-known restaurateur Medi Duss, who is a witness in the case of the former Head of the Department T of the MIA GUEBiPK Dmitry Zakharchenko.
It is reported that the house of Andrey Nazarov, the leader of Delovaya Rossiya, located in the village of Buzlanovo, Krasnogorsk district, suffered most of all from the raid. 47 million rubles were stolen. The criminals made their way into Nazarov's cottage through windows on the second floor, where Nazarov’s son and his wife were sleeping. They were handcuffed to the bed, pillowcases were worn on their heads, and the head of the family was severely beaten. Later, doctors diagnosed numerous rib fractures with dislocation, lung injuries, and vertebral fractures.
The attackers abducted more than 30 million rubles from the mansion of Solntsevo entrepreneur Alexander Averin (Avera Jr.), who died in 2017. It is reported that the criminals used to follow the same scheme - they made their way to the house of Averin, bound him and his spouse, took all the money and valuables, and then handcuffed Averin to an empty safe, Znak.com writes.
Another victim of the gang of Moldavian was the retired FSB General, Hero of Russia Umar-Pasha Khanaliev, who then lived in Gorki-2 near the presidential residence in Novo-Ogaryovo.

The criminals got to the protected village between the residences of Vladimir Putin and Dmitry Medvedev late at night, penetrating the territory of the Khanaliev site using a ladder, after which all the residents of the house were handcuffed to the pipes in the bathroom. The raiders stole the Golden Star of the Hero of Russia, an award pistol, several men's and women's watches and jewelry, as well as cash. The total damage to the Khanaliev family amounted to 13.5 million rubles.
In October last year, a member of the PMC and an employee of the Dozhd TV channel, Kogershyn Sagiyeva, reported on torture of Nikolai Grecu in a secret FSB prison. According to the channel, 37-year-old Grecu was demanded that he confess to robbing the house of the FSB General and return the premium weapon and the Hero of Russia star to him.
