Gagiev’s gang members taken to Moscow by special flight
The killers are complicit in 60 murders.
12 members of the criminal killers’ group, led by Aslan Gagiev, were convoyed from Vladikavkaz to Moscow, reports the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
Members of the notorious criminal group were transported to the capital by special flight after the approval of the indictment in Vladikavkaz. Now the case of the gang members is sent to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. In particular, the question of changing the territorial jurisdiction will be considered.
“Due to the presence of a real threat to the personal safety of the participants in the court proceedings, the court decided to send the case for consideration on the merits to the Moscow District Military Court,” the department clarified.
The ICR added that the investigative actions against Gagiev himself, who is convicted of 60 killings, have also been completed. Law enforcement agencies are continuing the investigation against the remaining members of the group, including those on the wanted list.
As set forth in the case papers, the members of Gagiev’s gang were involved in attempts on the life of law enforcement officers. They were complicit in more than 40 murders and attempts that were committed from 2004 to 2014 in Moscow, the Moscow region, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania.
Major of the Operative Unit No. 6 in the South-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow, Kirill Dvoretskov, is the nephew of General Boris Pishchulin, who used to head the police of the South-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow.
