Ex-head of banking department of FSB’s Dept "K" may be linked with Aslan Gagiev’s gang
After the 2005 meeting of Gagiev and Frolov, banker Slesarev was killed along with his entire family.
Murders may appear in the high-profile case of corruption in the banking department of the FSB, said Rucriminal.info. The operatives who worked on the gang of killer Aslan Gagiev (Dzhako) recorded at least one personal contact of Gagiev and Dmitry Frolov, the former head of banking department of FSB’s Dept "K", who was responsible for the coping with crime in the banking sector. Soon after, the owner of Sodbiznesbank Alexander Slesarev, was killed along with his family.
As The CrimeRussia said earlier, several hitmen attacked a Mercedes and a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport with Slesarev’s family on the Kashirskoye Highway on the morning of October 16, 2005. The assassins opened fire on his wife Natalya, 15-year-old daughter Yelizaveta, 7-year-old niece Sofia Mikhailovskaya, two more relatives of Slesarev and an 80-year-old nun who accompanied the family on a trip to a monastery in the town of Stary Oskol. Alexander Slesarev and his wife died on the spot; their daughter died in hospital. The niece, one of the relatives and the nun were badly injured. The criminals fled from the scene.
According to Rucriminal.info, Slesarev and co-owners of 1520 Group, Valery Markelov and Boris Usherovich, had a big disagreement in 2005. It happened even before Vladimir Yakunin took over the post at Russian Railways, and 1520 began to receive billion-ruble contracts from the monopolist. Markelov and Usherovich were players in the cash market at that time. Alexander Slesarev was another major player. Usherovich and Markelov worked closely with Dmitry Frolov, who knew Dzhako. After the meeting of Gagiev and Frolov, Slesarev was killed along with his entire family.
Aslan Gagiev is charged with organizing a criminal community (part 1 of Art. 210 of the Criminal Code), creating three gangs (Art. 209 of the Criminal Code), committing six murders (item (a), (f), (g), (h), part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code) and being engaged in illicit arms trafficking (part 3 of Art. 222 of the Criminal Code). The gang’s rivals were the victims of the organizations that were part of the criminal community created by Gagiev. At the moment, Aslan Gagiev is suspected of arranging 60 murders, including those of National Capital Bank owner, Dmitry Plytnik, Sodbiznesbank and Kredittrast Bank owner, Alexander Slesarev, the chairman of the Board of Kutuzovsky Bank, Oleg Novoselsky and the former owner of the German shipyards Wadan Yards, Andrey Burlakov.
