Ethnic gangs continue to nightmarize Moscow businessmen
The criminal group, gathered by a Caucasian, tried to establish criminal control over a company specializing in passenger transport.
The police held a special operation to detain the leader and active members of the criminal gang, which tried to establish criminal control over a company specializing in passenger transport on Moscow-Voronezh route.
As reported by the CrimeRussia source, the press service of the Moscow Central Administration, operation on detention of the gang of racketeers was conducted with participation of the General Administration of Criminal Investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow Central Administrative District. The power support was provided by the Russian Special Police Force fighters. During the operative-search activities by the security forces, three gang members were detained, as well as their boss, which turned out to be 36-year-old native of North Caucasus Federal District.
Previously, it was found out that the suspects, under threat of violence, demanded 25% of each ticket sold on the Moscow-Voronezh route from the company specializing in passenger traffic. The racketeers were working on the territory of one of the railroad stations in Moscow.
Now the criminal case under part 2 of Art.163 of the Criminal Code (Extortion) in relation to the participants of the gang is under investigation. All persons involved in the case are detained by the court decision.
