Eight FSB officers hid in North Caucasus after arresting colleagues in robbery case
Security officials are suspected of embezzling 140 million rubles from Chinese citizens working in a market.
While on mission in the North Caucasus, eight officers of the Alpha Special Forces found out about their status as suspects in the robbery case and the arrests of seven colleagues, and then disappeared, reports Novaya Gazeta. According to the newspaper, over the past two years, the security forces have attacked "participants of the market" twice.
Cars with money were blocked by cars without plates. Armed men screaming "working FSB" took the money. Five of the 15 suspects were arrested in Moscow, two - sent under house arrest. The others are wanted.
Presumably, it concerns the US response to Ukraine’s help in the investigation against Joseph Biden, Trump’s main rival in the 2020 presidential election, who allegedly was in collusion with Kiev during the previous campaign.
