Dagestan: property of Federal Registration Service and cadastral office officials seized
Five alleged OCG member have been put on the federal wanted list.
The court arrested 329 real estate items with a total value of about 20 billion rubles ($ 305 million) in a case of swindling with land plots, instituted against a number of officials from the Federal Registration Service and the cadastral office of Dagestan, as well as against the deputy of the Dagestani National Assembly, Fikret Radjabov. They are accused of embezzling municipal and state property, which has caused damage of more than 370 million rubles ($ 5,6 million) to the state, the ICR’s press service reports.
Deputy Radjabov, a number of employees of the Registration Service’s directorate in Dagestan and the cadastral office of the republic, including the former head of the Service’s directorate, Safiyul Magomedov, and its acting chairman Shamil Hajiyev were accused based on their role in participating and organizing the criminal community (part 2 of Article 210 CCRF and part 3 of Article 210 CCRF). Five people were taken into custody, including Radjabov and Hajiyev. Five defendants, including Magomedov, were put on the federal wanted list.
The cadets have been found guilty of an Attempt at Murder by a Group of Persons by Previous Concert and for Mercenary Reasons (part 3 of Art. 30, part 2 of Art. 105 of the Russian Criminal Code). They do not plead guilty.
