Black Realtors kidnap handicapped in Zelenograd
The criminals took their victim to the Lipetsk region on a false pretext and sold his apartment with forged documents.
The Zelenograd Criminal Investigation Department detained active members of the ethnic gang engaged in apartment scam. The exposure was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ press service.
According to the institution, a group of people turned to the Zelenograd police reporting disappearance of their neighbor, a 50-year-old disabled man. The investigation found that the missing person had fallen victim to a criminal gang, which had brought him to the Lipetsk region on a false pretext and then sold his apartment with forged documents. A criminal case was initiated in this regard under part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code. The Zelenograd district court of Moscow found the illegal transaction invalid, and the apartment was returned to its rightful owner.
At the same time the officers have established the identities of all those involved in real estate fraud: four of them come from neighboring republics and one is a Russian citizen, all aged between 43 and 60. All the gangsters were detained in different locations in Moscow and the Lipetsk region. When searching the houses, officers found and seized some of the passports, various certificates, power of attorneys, notary and title documents for apartments in Moscow and the Lipetsk region. The documents show signs of forgery. Besides, 26 rounds of ammunition for firearms were found during a search in one of the apartments.
The city police detained two officers of the Russian FSB and the deputy chief of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the North-East Administrative District Department of the Interior Ministry of Russia for Moscow, who are suspected of bribe-taking.
