“Never met a better man.” Channel One interviews hitman’s wife
Viktoria Mikhailova appeared on the Male and Female show hosted by Alexander Gordon and Yulia Baranovskaya.
Viktoria Mikhailova, 43, is the wife of a hitman of the Orekhovo-Medvedkovskaya syndicate. The woman came to the Male and Female show on Channel One and said she would do everything she could to get her husband, Oleg Mikhailov (aka Khokhol) resentenced.
According to her, Mikhailov had made a confession, and therefore should not have been convicted for life.
“I want to be with my husband. I’ve never met a better man. We are planning to get a Crowning Ceremony [church marriage],” said the woman on the show.
Previously, Mikhailova said that she had gotten interested in meeting her future husband after she had read about him in the newspaper Moskovsky Komsomolets. She was struck by the fact that he was the only one of the criminal group who had turned himself in and asked for forgiveness. The man and the woman wrote letters to each other since the spring of 2018 and got married on September 20 in Vologda-based IK-5 prison.
Oleg Mikhailov was condemned for nine homicides in 2007. His job in the group included the elimination of certain Orekhovskaya members. Khokhol killed Sergei Simonov and Vasily Tsarkov and encased their bodies in concrete; he was detained in 2003.
The funeral of Amur crime boss Zaruba turned into a scandal. The witness filmed a funeral procession, which elongates for hundreds of meters, blocking the city streets. About a hundred people walked along the roadway behind the coffin. According to the author of the video, among those who carried the coffin of the lord, the heads of the local police and the Prosecutor’s Office were noticed. “So that I live and die,” thought the onlookers, who witnessed the procession.
