The Presnensky court of Moscow refused to collect 215 billion rubles ($3.8bn) from president of NorNickel Vladimir Potanin in favor of his ex-wife Natalia. As a representative of the plaintiff Pavel Konovalov told RIA Novosti, the court considered "that the statute of limitations was missed." The trial was closed.
Recall, former wife of Potanin Natalia demanded to collect 215 billion rubles for the shares of KM Invest. A few days ago it became known that she made a new attempt to obtain monetary compensation from the businessman. The subject of her new lawsuit became shares and rights to already liquidated Cypriot companies that once controlled the shares in NorNickel and Polyus Gold, as well as dividends paid to the Potanin structures before the divorce of the couple in 2014.
