Mikhail Prokhorov sells Snob
Onexim Group of billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov sold Snob edition to CEO of Snob Media LLC Marina Gevorgyan.
Onexim’s statement says that the group decided to get rid of media assets as part of its investment strategy. Snob was the last such asset of Onexim.
Marina Gevorkyan has been working at Snob since 2009. She became the General Director of Snob Media LLC in 2012.
In June 2017, Onexim sold RBC. ESN group owner Grigory Berezkin bought the media holding. He also owns Komsomolskaya Pravda publishing house and Metro newspaper.
Snob project was launched in 2008. It was created by the founder of Kommersant publishing house Vladimir Yakovlev.
A federal judge other than retired Catherine Forrest will consider the case of Razhden Shulaya, who is charged with the creation of a criminal syndicate and other crimes, in the Federal District Court of the Southern District of New York.
Ismail Efendiev is suspected of exceeding authority in connection with the investigation of cases of detained earlier former First Deputy Prime Minister Ramazan Aliyev and nephew of the former head of Dagestan Askhabali Abdulatipov. Searches are being conducted at Efendiev's office and house.
