Mikhail Gutseriev’s company denies rumours on his escape from Russia
Representatives of SAFMAR Group have stated that the reports on Gutseriev’s escape from Russia had been launched in the media by his competitors.
Reports on an escape of a founder of a financial industrial group SAFMAR Mikhail Gutseriev from Russia were launched in the media by the businessman’s competitors, reports Govorit Moskva radio station with reference to the media office of the FIG.
“The SAFMAR Group are convinced that the hate campaign was instigated and paid out by a group of business-competitors who had used corrupted reporters to spread the faked information,” the Group stated and demanded for public apology.
The escape of Mikhail Gutseriev had been reported by Ksenia Sobchak and a Telegram channel Nezygar. It was stated that the entrepreneur had - in fear of troubles - left Russia following arrest of an ex-minister of Open government Mikhail Abyzov and an ex-Governor of Khabarovsk region Viktor Ishaev.
Mikhail Gutseriev is the chief stockholder at the FIG SAFMAR Group that comprises Russneft, Evroplan, Tekhnosila, Eldorado, Mospromstroy and others. The Group also owns 9 elite hotels in Moscow, Minsk and Astana. In January, SAFMAR was ranked 4th at Forbes magazine’s Kings of Russian real estate.
