Abramovich rented estate of Jacqueline Kennedy?
The oligarch rented the famous mansion in the past year.
Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich and his wife model Daria Zhukova, perhaps, secretly rented Lasata homestead in the village of East Hampton (NY). According to the edition New York Post, the pair lived there in 2016, but it became known only now. The representative of the tycoon refused to somehow comment on this information.
Earlier, this estate belonged to the family of Jacqueline Kennedy. Lasata was built in 1917 by her grandfather. There a future first lady rested until 12 years of age.
In 2007, the art director of Tiffany&Co Reed Krakoff bought an estate of 4.4 hectares for $25 million. Then the estate was renovated, and in the adjacent areas a triple garage, a swimming pool and a double of beds house appeared.
In 2016, the estate was put up for sale for 53.9 million dollars, then the price has been reduced by two million dollars.
Lieutenant General Oleg Troshin announced he is going to retire in May 2018. He is doing it following a decision taken a year ago – not due to non-existent issues with the agency reported by some local media outlets.
