Presumably, it concerns the US response to Ukraine’s help in the investigation against Joseph Biden, Trump’s main rival in the 2020 presidential election, who allegedly was in collusion with Kiev during the previous campaign.

The US intelligence was alarmed with a conversation between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, Washington Post reports.

It is also noted that it is not known for certain whether a certain “promise” to Zelensky was really given. Presumably, it concerns the US response to Ukraine’s help in the investigation against Joseph Biden, Trump’s main rival in the 2020 presidential election, who allegedly was in collusion with Kiev during the previous campaign. The case concerns the leader’s July telephone conversation, after which a complaint was filed two and a half weeks later.

On September 19, it was reported that US President Donald Trump allegedly made a “promise” in conversation with a certain foreign leader, which caused huge concerns of the intelligence services and forced them to fill an official complaint to the Congress. The American leader later rejected all the allegations against him on Twitter, calling them fake news.

Democrats demanded that Joseph Maguire, acting director of the US National Intelligence, provide details of the conversation. He and the inspector of intelligence services, Michael Atkinson, will testify in closed hearings before the special committee of the House of Representatives.
