Train smashing bus in Kazakhstan caught on video
The bus driver was killed; a woman and two children got injuries.
A video appeared on social media showing the collision of a passenger train with a bus near the Shamalgan station in the Almaty region of Kazakhstan.
The train crashed into a bus that had been on the tracks because a traffic jam had formed in front of it. The train driver used emergency braking but it did not help.
“The driver opened the door, let the people out. His wife shouted, “Get out!” but he said that the people were more important. He made sure all of them got out but he did not make it, unfortunately. We were there and saw everything. It was terrifying, I’m still shaking, we have traffic jams like that every day. The driver did not have time to get through, there were cars in front of him. If he had not opened the door, there would have been many victims,” eyewitnesses said.
According to preliminary data, the bus driver was killed; a woman and two children got injuries.
