Syrians shower stones on Russian patrol cars
The locals of a settlement managed to stop cars of the Russian military police and climb to the top of one of them.
Citizens of a settlement of Syria’s Kobani canton showered stones and shoes on Russian and Turkish patrol cars. This way, they wanted to register disapproval as to the fact that the military men were passing through the settlements, reports Syria’s North Press Agency.
Russian armed vehicles Tigr and Turkish Kirpi fell under a peculiar protest act. The locals of a settlement managed to stop cars of the Russian military police and climb to the top of one of them, reports Reuters.
Earlier, it was reported that Russia continued patrolling a Syria-Turkey border in a province of Al-Hasakah. Shortly before, the Turkish and Russian military men used to patrol the territory near Syria’s Kobani, as well as a route Ailisher - Bandarkhan in Syria’s Aleppo. Armistice regime is still being violated in the territory of patrolling, reports NSN.
According to the memorandum of understanding signed by Vladimir Putin and his Turkish colleague Recep Erdoğan, subdivision of the Russian military police are going to be placed near the Turkish border. It is expected that the military men will facilitate removal of forces of the Kurds 30 km away from the border, as well as patrolling the territory, reports Utro.ru.
