Semblance of Russian anthem played at meeting between Putin and king of Saudi Arabia
The Russian president of did not react to the orchestra’s “improvisation.”
A video from the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and King of Saudi Arabia Salman ibn Abdul-Aziz Al Saud on which the state orchestra unsuccessfully tries to play the Russian anthem, is going viral on the Internet. Putin has not reacted in any way throughout the whole performance.
The Russian president had a working visit to Saudi Arabia for the first time in 12 years. Negotiations of the heads of state took place in the Al-Yamama Palace in Riyadh, the Kremlin website reports. They discussed measures to stabilize oil prices, the military conflict in Syria, the situation in the Persian Gulf region, as well as relations between Palestine and Israel.
Following the visit, a number of bilateral documents was signed, including both interdepartmental and commercial agreements. Putin gave a Kamchatka gyrfalcon to the king, and crown prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud received a highly artistic mammoth tusk item from the president.
Two adults and three children became infected with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) during treatment in a hospital in the Stavropol city of Budyonnovsk in 2018, Interfax reports with reference to the regional Ministry of Health.
