Schumacher discharged from hospital
Schumacher left the clinic back in the night of September 11.
The seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher has been discharged from the Paris hospital, announced French journalist Jean-Michel Décugis on BFMTV, TASS reports.
According to the reporter, Schumacher left the clinic on the night of September 11-12. The treatment relied on secret methods, he added, suggesting that they must be some experimental methods.
“We only know that he underwent a blood transfusion, and stem cells were added into his blood, which should have a beneficial effect on his entire body, including the brain,” said Décugis.
The news about Michael Schumacher’s hospitalization was reported on September 9. He was taken to the cardiology department of a Paris hospital. Doctors reported that the German would have an experimental surgery with stem cells put into his heart tissue. The method could be aimed at eliminating the inflammatory process in the heart, it was assumed.
Schumacher is recovering from a head injury he got in 2013 while skiing in the Alps. The race driver fell into a coma after the fall.
