Lifeguard beats Russian tourist on the beach of Bulgarian elite resort
The woman lost her consciousness.
In Bulgaria, a tourist from Russia was attacked by a lifeguard for swimming beyond the buoys.
A 50-year-old woman was spending her vacation in the expensive and popular resort Golden Sands (Zlatni pyasatsi). On the last day of her holiday, she went to the beach for a swim. After the swim, she returned to the shore and noticed a man in the uniform of a lifeguard who was shouting something to her.
According to the Russian, after she swam closer, the lifeguard pulled her by the hair from the sea and began to hit her face.
“He was beating me with his fist or palm, I couldn't see. Then I fell and lost my consciousness,” the tourist said, as cited by Moskovsky Komsomolets.
When the woman came to her senses, eyewitnesses assisted her, and another rescuer helped her to get to the hotel.
The tourist filed a complaint with Bulgarian police. In Moscow, she was diagnosed with broken nose and head injury.
