Israel extradites detained Russian hacker Burkov to US
The United States believe that he dealt with machinations with credit cards of Americans.
Authorities of Israel started extraditing of a Russian Aleksey Burkov who had been detained in Israel in late December, 2015, upon the request of the U.S. He is suspected of crimes related to cybersecurity. This has been reported to TASS by the Russian’s lawyer Mikhail Ironi.
American authorities demanded extradition of Burkov due to a breach of database. He was detained at Ben-Gurion Airport in Tel-Aviv in 2015, when he was going through a passport check-point. The United States believe that he dealt with machinations with credit cards of Americans.
