Islamic State takes responsibility for attacking border crossing checkpoint in Tajikistan

15 IS* militants were killed.

The main news agency of the IS*, Amak published a photograph of six attackers.

It is to be recalled that border guards liquidated 15 the 20 people who attacked the border crossing checkpoint No. 4 Ishkobod in western Tajikistan.

Five more were captured alive. The Tajik security forces lost a border guard soldier and an employee of the MIA. The National Security Committee of Tajikistan believes that jihadists arrived in the country on November 3 from the Kalai Zol county of the Afghan province of Kunduz. A number of experts doubt this version. To get to Ishkobod, the militants had to cover 100 km, the place of the battle looks like an organized ambush on militants, rather than an attack on the border checkpoint. On one of the militants' burned cars number plates, figures for Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, are visible (numbers 01 at the end).

According to the channel Directorate 4, perhaps the Tajik authorities are trying to shift the blame on the “newcomer” bandits, not wanting to admit that there is recruitment in the country.
