India: stray dogs rescue newborn girl from sewer

CCTV captured the moment of salvation.

In the Indian city of Kaithal, stray dogs dragged a newborn girl out of the sewer, where she was thrown a few hours after birth. Outdoor video surveillance cameras captured the moment of salvation.

According to The Times Of India, the dogs pulled the baby out and then began to bark loudly. People rushed in and called the police and medics to the scene.

Doctors concluded that the girl was premature and was born in the seventh month of pregnancy. Her head was also injured. Now the child is in serious condition, so she cannot be transported to a large hospital.

It is noted that the security cameras also recorded the moment when an unknown woman threw the newborn's body wrapped in polyethylene into the sewer system. A criminal case has been launched against her.
