India: 13 people dead after bus collides with truck
13 people died and at least 20 were injured.
As a result of a collision of a bus with a truck in the Indian state of Maharashtra, 13 people died and at least 20 were injured, reports Hindustan Times with reference to the police.
As it is reported, the bus was heading from the city of Aurangabad to the village of Shahada. The accident occurred at about 22:30 local time.
According to ZEE News, 45 passengers were in the bus. Eight of them are currently in critical condition and are being treated in a nearby hospital.
Other passengers were rescued due to the prompt actions of local residents who pulled the injured out of the vehicle.
