“He appears to be a nobody.” US know nothing about ISIS new leader
The State Department is convinced that he’s not too long for the world.
The U.S. know almost nothing about a new leader of ISIS (a terrorist group, prohibited in Russia), but they are convinced that he won’t last long.
“We think we know a bit about him ... What little we know about him, we’re not impressed. If he’s in Iraq or Syria, we don’t think he’s too long for the world, anyway,” Interfax quotes a high-ranking official of the State Department as saying.
Earlier, it became known that Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurashi had become a successor of the liquidated leader of ISIS. Just like Baghdadi, he claims a lineage to Muhammad’s tribe of Quraysh.
