Enraged driver crushes woman between two cars outside of Buckingham Palace
London police were forced to taser the road rage driver.
A woman in her 40 was crushed between two cars by a 23-year-old driver in what is believed to be a road rage dispute. The woman was screaming in pain and horror as she was trapped between a Range Rover and a Mercedes.
Police believe that the Range Rover driver may have deliberately drove into the woman before trying to flee the scene. Officers were forced to taser the perpetrator before making the arrest.
“A 23-year-old man, the suspected driver of the Land Rover, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of affray; a Taser was discharged by officers during the arrest,” London’s Metropolitan Police said in a statement.
“The woman had been crushed between the two cars. She was screaming in pain. The driver of the Range Rover tried to get away, but police Tasered him,” a Canadian tourist told the Evening Standard. “The woman had a young kid who looked like he was crying and shouting for help.”
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and a woman, in her mid-30s, was taken to a central London hospital for treatment; her condition has been assess as non life-threatening but may be life-changing,” police said.
