British tourist apologizes to Chechens for calling local girls “chicks”
Benjamin noted that he did not want to insult the residents of Chechnya.
A blogger from England, Benjamin, apologized to Chechen girls for calling them chicks in his video, where he speaks about dreaming of meeting with a Chechen. The blogger’s apology was recorded on video in his office with a portrait of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov.
Benjamin noted that he did not want to offend the residents of Chechnya. “Now I understand that such expressions are not welcome here and I apologize,” he said in a video posted on the Pro Chechnya Telegram channel.
The blogger said that he had been in Chechnya for a couple of days and he really liked the republic – so he intended to tell all his subscribers about the beauty of the Russian region. “I hope you can forgive me. You understand that England is not Chechnya, we have different traditions. And I hope you enjoy the next video,” the man said.
