Body of American model found in concrete dumped in desert
Her 45-year-old neighbor has been detained on suspicion of murder.
American model Esmeralda Gonzalez, 24, who had more than 300 thousand followers on Instagram, has been found dead in the Nevada desert almost five months after she went missing.
Her dead body was in a wooden box full of concrete, reports Las Vegas Review-Journal. Police determined the woman had been poisoned. Besided that, the murderer tried to strangle her.
Christopher Prestipino, a 45-year-old neighbor of the victim, has been detained on suspicion of murder. Gonzalez and Prestipino allegedly used drugs at Prestipino’s place on the day of the killing. The model started acting bizarre, and Prestipino tied her up to a bedpost.
The man thought she was dead, but after a while, she woke up and started punching him. Then, the man injected her with pool cleaner. After that, she died. After that, Prestipino rented a truck to move her concrete-encased body into the desert.
The man has been arrested on suspicion of the killing, first-degree kidnapping resulting in substantial bodily harm and conspiracy to commit murder. His 31-year-old girlfriend, Lisa Mort, faces a charge of harboring, concealing or aiding a felon.
