Two guards are also suspended.
The US Department of Justice announced the change of prison leadership, which let financier Jeffrey Epstein, accused of sexual crimes against minors, commit suicide. RIA Novosti reports this.
James Petrucci, the warden of the federal prison in Otisville, became the acting director of the prison. As noted, two guards are also suspended.
Earlier it was revealed that the ward of Jeffrey Epstein was not adequately examined on the night when he committed suicide.
