Australia: van with 270 kilograms of drugs rams police car
The driver was arrested on charges of drug trafficking.
In Sydney, Australia, a van with 270 kilograms of drugs crashed into a patrol car at the police station, Reuters reports.
According to the agency, the 28-year-old driver did not fit into the garage and rammed a police car at high speed, after which he tried to escape from the spot. He was detained an hour later.
The police found more than 270 kilograms of methamphetamine. The cost of drugs is estimated at $140 million.
The arrested driver was accused of drug trafficking and reckless driving.
