The athletes let slip the first match of the season for safety reasons. That is the first miss in the English Premier League history.
London Arsenal stars Mesut Özil, and Sead Kolasinats faced threatens of street gangsters. According to BBC, the athletes let slip the first match of the season for safety reasons. That is the first miss in the English Premier League history.
Previously, The CrimeRussia has written about an attack on Özil and Kolasinac in late July. They survived the assault of unknown men with knives; stars turned to the police.
After a failed robbery attempt, gangsters nightmarized both players. According to The Sun, the raiders are members of a gang operating in the north of London. Goal.com journalist Charles Watts tweeted that Özil and Kolasinac have been targeted more than once after the first assault.
The raiders have not yet been caught, but, as The Times learned, another gang is trying to take on the protection of the players. Its members warn players of imminent danger.
The police take the incident as seriously as possible: both players missed the first match of the season, their houses were taken under guard, and Kolasinac’s wife Bella left London for Germany.
