American cop could have compromised Russia on British Prince Andrew in Epstein case
One of Epstein’s victims says that he made her have sex with other men, including Prince Andrew.
Russia could have received incriminating information about British prince Andrew because of the scandal surrounding the American billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who committed suicide after allegations of pedophilia and human trafficking.
One of Epstein’s victims, Virginia Giuffre, said in an interview that the financier made her have sex with other men, including Prince Andrew. NBC Channel showed a picture in which Prince Andrew holds 17-year-old Giuffre by the waist. Prince Andrew denies having “any sexual contact or relationship” with Giuffre.
British intelligence MI6 fears that former Florida police officer John Dougan, who had access to the Epstein investigation, could give Russia compromising information about the prince, The Times reports.
In 2009, Dougan left the United States and moved to Russia. After the Epstein case was reopened in July, the ex-policeman said on Facebook that he talked a lot with investigators and was still keeping confidential documents that no one had seen. MI6 wonders if Dougan is aware of the initial investigation into Epstein.
A source in a Western intelligence agency said that Dougan showed a number of “classic traits” that could lead to his recruitment by a “hostile intelligence service.” “His knowledge of the Epstein case can be of great interest to Russian intelligence,” he said.
According to the source, Dougan is currently in Moscow. When asked if the Russian special services control him, he said “I have never met anyone from the government except immigration officers.”
According to Dougan, Epstein was associated with “a group of people.” The former policeman does not know whether Prince Andrew was part of it.
Epstein was detained in New York on July 6. He was accused of creating a criminal network that allowed to sexually exploit and abuse dozens of underage girls. The billionaire committed his crimes in 2002-2005. The alleged victims were 14 years old. Epstein was also charged with bribery of witnesses. The billionaire’s body was found in a cell on Saturday morning, August 10. It is believed that he killed himself.
