4 people killed in football party shooting, California
Attackers sneaked into a private house and opened fire on the owners and their guests, who watched a football match in the backyard. The attackers managed to escape.
Four people were killed, another six were injured as a result of a shooting in the American city of Fresno, California, Associated Press reports citing the police.
According to Fresno Police Lt. Bill Dooley, the incident occurred on the evening of Sunday, November 17, at a family party in a private house in the south-east of the city. “Everyone was watching football this evening when unknown suspects approached the residence, snuck into the backyard and opened fire,” Dooley said.
Ten people got gunshot wounds, three of them died on the spot. Another victim died in a hospital,
Deputy Chief Michael Reid told the suspects managed to escape, their identities are being established. The exact number of the attackers was not specified.
