Younger son of hockey player Sokolov detained for murder of mother and attack on brother
15-year-old Arseny’s theory was considered unconvincing by the investigators.
Law enforcers have detained 15-year-old Arseny Sokolov on suspicion of murder of his mother and attempt on his 18-year-old brother Maksim, reports Baza Telegram channel.
The investigation found Arseny’s theory - according to which his brother tried to kill him and then attacked the mother - unconvincing. Meanwhile, Arseny ran away to their neighbors’ apartment to seek help. He says when he came back, he saw his mother’s dead body, flipped out and attacked Maksim. And more interestingly, Arseny states a week ago, his brother told him he was planning a ritual killing of the family.
Law enforcers are considering another plot: Arseny attacked both his brother and mother and then went to their neighbors’ apartment to make it look like he was seeking help. When he came back home and saw Maksim was still alive, Arseny attacked him in order to finish off the unwanted eyewitness.
It is not reported why the teenager brought himself to killing his own mother. Arseny is still sticking to his story. He states he did not kill his mother. Maksim is in serious condition in the ICU.
The Investigative Committee posted a video from the apartment where the massacre had taken place.
The miraculous landing of an Airbus A321 belonging to Ural Airlines on a cornfield raised a number of questions in relation to waste landfills in the metropolitan area. The airbus struck a flock of seagulls because an illegal dump site was established not far from Zhukovsky International Airport. The CrimeRussia performed its own inquest to uncover ties between the emergency landing of the A321 and Andrei Vorobiev, Governor of the Moscow Region. It turned out that dump sites, seagulls, officials of Ramenskoe, and detained thief-in-law Shishkan are links of the same chain that cannot be broken even by the law enforcement authorities. After the aerial incident, a criminal case was instituted under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of the rules for traffic safety and operation of the railway, air, sea and inland water transportation systems). But the question is: why no criminal proceedings were launched in relation to the corruption and establishment of illegal landfills?
