Yaroslavl: killer of 7 people detained, terrible fire caused by arsonist
A criminal case of the murder of two or more people is being investigated.
The cause of the fire in an apartment building in Rostov, Yaroslavl region, where seven people died, was an arson.
The criminal case has been reclassified from Death Caused by Negligence to Murder of Two or More Persons committed by a generally dangerous method, Interfax reports.
A resident of the Yaroslavl region born in 1982 was detained on suspicion of arson.
Earlier it was reported that seven people, five of them were children, died as a result of fire on 13 Leninsky Street in Rostov; three more were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.
