Irina Bannikova, injured in a fire at the Khromaya Loshad’ nightclub in 2009, came out of the coma and started talking. This is reported by NTV.
Irina came out of the coma a few years ago and could not move until recently. Now her condition has improved greatly. The woman now can laugh, talk, and express emotions. The patient is under constant supervision of doctors; she undergoes special procedures and practices remedial gymnastics sessions.
During the fire that occurred at the club on December 5, 2009, which claimed the lives of 156 people, Irina worked behind the cash register. Despite the fact that serious burns were avoided, she received a strong carbon monoxide poisoning, resulting in the brain getting seriously injured.
According to the woman's family, Irina's health is improving, but they constantly have to seek compensation to pay for medical procedures.
By the way, the club owner Anatoly Zak had already served his sentence, was released, and went to receive treatment in Israel.
