Woman detained for drunken driving on Moscow Ring Road has criminal record for contracting murder of Nornickel’s major supplier

The identity of the woman detained today after the police pursuit on the Moscow Ring Road has been established. She turned out to be Svetlana Selivanova, 47, about whom the media has already reported.
In 2011, she ordered the murder of her former husband Igor Tryapkin, who at that time headed the trading house Valdai, the supplier firm of Norilsk Nickel.
At some point, according to investigators, tired of sharing, the woman began to look for people able to physically eliminate her husband. The law enforcers learned about this and shared this data with the potential victim. Tryakin agreed to stage his own murder. The operatives showed Selivanova a photo of the man “beaten to death,” after which she left a receipt for payment of $ 100,000, which later became evidence in the trial.
Selivanova received five years of probation.
It is to be recalled that today the woman was followed by the police and rammed four cars on the Moscow Ring Road. It was possible to detain her only after she crashed into the bump and could not go further.
