Wanted DJ gave himself away with concert announcement on social networks
A Yekaterinburg musician who was convicted of drunk driving has been detained in the Crimea.
Employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Republic of Crimea have detained a DJ from Yekaterinburg, who was on the federal wanted list for more than a year after the court delivered its verdict for a drunken ride (Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
It was possible to track down the fugitive thanks to information in social networks - on his page the DJ announced a concert at which he was to perform.
The musicians's sentence was pronounced May 18, 2018 by the World Court of judicial district No. 7 of the Surgut judicial district of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. He was sentenced to 280 hours of community service with the deprivation of the right to be engaged in activities related to driving. However, it was impossible to find him in Yekaterinburg - the man did not live at the indicated address.
As the Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service noted, the man was rounded up right at his party. Now the court will consider the issue of changing his penalty to a more severe one.
Presumably, it concerns the US response to Ukraine’s help in the investigation against Joseph Biden, Trump’s main rival in the 2020 presidential election, who allegedly was in collusion with Kiev during the previous campaign.
