Voronenkov buried in cemetery in the center of Kiev
The farewell ceremony of the ex-State Duma deputy was attended by several dozen people.
The former people's nominee Denis Voronenkov was buried in the Zverinetsky cemetery in Kiev, TASS reports.
As previously reported by the CrimeRussia, the burial service took place at St. Vladimir Cathedral and was attended by several dozen people, including the ex-deputy's widow Maria Maksakova, relatives and friends of the deceased, as well as former State Duma Deputy Ilya Ponomarev and some Ukrainian politicians.
The other day, Voronenkov's wife Maria Maksakova gave her first interview after her husband's death, in which she stated that she would not speculate or search for the perpetrators.
Let us recall that, as previously reported, Voronenkov was shot in front of Premier-Palas hotel. The Ukrainian law enforcement agencies reported that records from the CCTV cameras revealed the assassin had been following Voronenkov's car on Daewoo Lanos, and started shooting when the latter parked his car and got out of it together with his guard.
Lieutenant General Oleg Troshin announced he is going to retire in May 2018. He is doing it following a decision taken a year ago – not due to non-existent issues with the agency reported by some local media outlets.
A serious and not at all political clash of interests is taking place at the Russian Federation Council. Kamchatka senators Valery Ponomarev and Boris Nevzorov are failing at deciding how to divide the Kamchatka water resources; both men make millions of dollars off of them every year.
